Our Story
The Vila Group at AIG Retirement Services is an experienced group of professionals with a complementary set of skills. They provide a comprehensive strategy of financial planning and are dedicated to helping their clients reach their financial goals in retirement.
The Vila Group at AIG was established in 2014 when four VALIC Advisors decided to collaborate and use their individual skill sets in a team manner to better serve their client base. Our team currently consists of Senior Financial Advisors Jonathan Vila and Senior Financial advisor Devin Richard as well as fellow financial advisors Randy Ramos, AJ Sanchez, Laura Akins, and Jennifer Morales as well as our Internal partners, Stefanie Ortolani and Elizabeth Mercer-Lynch.
The Vila Group provides financial services to various Employers and Employees in the Greater Tampa Bay area who participate in the Florida Retirement System (FRS) and the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP). They currently work with Hillsborough County Public Schools, Pinellas County Public Schools, State of Florida, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, and Pasco County BOCC. The Vila Group team manages approximately $300 million in assets and over 4,000 clients. They assist each and every client with their individual needs and goals. The Vila Group is a full financial services firm that specializes in retirement planning as well as life insurance, mutual funds, annuities, college savings plans and managed accounts.
